NORTH HOLLYWOOD-Just Step, the new and improved one-man play from Eric Edwards, star and writer of the Critically Acclaimed show, Calorically Challenged and Proud of It…, & "The Weight is Over" has moved its run to Playhouse West Studio 2 is located at 10634 Magnolia Boulevard, one block west of Cahuenga, through 2008 to accommodate the packed houses. The hilarious show, about making awesome life changes against all odds, will begin its extended run Friday January 26th at 8p.m. and continue on a monthly basis.
At 375 pounds, Eric was a big man in Hollywood. As the funny fat guy, Eric’s star was rising almost as fast as his health was failing. Then Eric lost 210 lbs. and changed his life forever. Eric explores changes and more. Throughout this laugh filled, yet poignant performance, Eric’s journey through body issues, prejudice, suicide and a childhood that would have destroyed most people, is used to illustrate key principals of self-empowerment and acceptance.
Just Step stars comic/actor Eric Edwards (Sgt. Bilko, Blade) and was written by Eric and Ken Dubner (a certified hypnotherapist and peak performance coach). The one-man play will give you laughs, may make you cry, will definitely make you think and may just help you take charge of your life.
